This Psalm of protection speaks peace to our fears of danger and evil, depicted by the creature's sinister eyes. We can be comforted by the image of the wings, remembering that God gives us guidance and strength when confronted by danger or evil. With that in mind, we can focus on becoming living stones which flow out of the open circle into the community.
